Volume in QualcoderPortable

Describe the bug :


In the qualcoder portable version on attepting to play audio files the volume in the system mixer is zero. Even though the volume control in Qualcoder interface is set maximum and the windows 11 task bar volume control is set to maximum, the sndVol.exe -r command reveals that the Qualcoder v olume slider in the mixer is zeror

To Reproduce :


Mention Steps to reproduce the behavior.
launch qualcoder, go to Manage Files and select an audio file. there is no sound untiol you open the volume mixer and set the slider to maximum.

Expected behavior :


A description of what you expected to happen. I do not know if thi is intentional bej=haviour, requiring the user to set volume and it is zero by default for some reason?

The inplementation is a portable .exe on a flash drive with vlc portable also on teh same drive. Once the mixer slider is set to 100% everyuthiong is fine. I was expecting that setting to be retained on closing Qualcoder and be retained on next use.

yes, that is a problem, I have not been able to fix so far. The solution as you have found, is to adjust the mixer volume, and then it seems to recognise it. I will have another look at this.
