macOS Hotkeys

Following an issue that I raised a few weeks ago, I have tried some hotkeys on my MacBook for QualCoder.

Most of the ones that I have tried are to manage files as I am still fixing some transcripts. I used the "//" symbol before the mac key bindings and list them under the corresponding windows/linux key binding. Most of them work when the Cmd button is used instead of the Ctrl button and Option for Alt, but for some that will overlap with existing hotkeys (like Ctrl + N for adding speaker names and Cmd + N for creating a new project) simply won't work. I do not have a good way to present everything so I just added the txt file and may update it once I have tried some other key combinations.

There has also been some issues when I use it to fix the transcripts. Mostly there are two issues:

1. The volume seems to be set to zero when the interface appears, and sound will only come out if I click on/drag the slider for volume, even though it is always at max in the beginning.
2. Sometimes when I use a hotkey after typing in the transcription text box, the programme will not respond immediately and only on second attempts will it succeed.

I hope this helps if any mac user is trying to use QualCoder and/or if the developers want to know what works and what doesn't.

In the latest code I added the New codername button.

Yes, the volume issue occurs with me also. It needs play a bit of the file in VLC first. No solution to this.
Hotkey non-responsive. hmm. maybe click elsewhere on the Qualcoder screen, so focus is not on the transcription text widget. I wonder if that is a potential cause.

Thank you for the explanation on the volume and hotkey issues! Right now I don't have to click somewhere else (also I have not spent time to figure out how to replicate the issue perfectly so I don't always anticipate it to happen) but simple press the hotkey again would make it work.
