Add Paycheck Tracking and Tax Rate Analysis Feature #6

I would like to request the ability to comprehensively track paycheck information across multiple pay periods. This feature should support detailed recording and analysis of all paycheck components.

Earnings Tracking:

  • Pay date and pay period
  • Base salary
  • PTO (Paid Time Off) hours
  • Any additional earnings or bonuses

Deductions Tracking:

  • Health insurance premiums (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • Voluntary life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement contributions
  • Any other pre-tax or post-tax deductions

Tax Withholdings:

  • Federal income tax
  • Medicare tax
  • Social Security tax
  • State income tax withholdings (e.g., California state withholdings)
  • State disability insurance withholdings (e.g., CA SDI)

Summary and Analytics:
The system should automatically calculate and display:

  • Gross pay (total earnings before deductions)
  • Total deductions
  • Total taxes withheld
  • Taxable income
  • Net pay (take-home pay after all deductions and taxes)
  • Effective federal income tax rate (federal tax / taxable income)
  • Effective state income tax rate (state tax / taxable income)

This feature would enable users to maintain a historical record of their compensation, understand their tax burden, and analyze their paycheck composition over time.
