On my Windows install I'm using Git Bash, which has as sh.exe, but it's not in my PATH (and I do not want it in my PATH). So how can I tell just where it can find that sh.exe?
I've looked at the docs but the only examples I see are using things like
shellandwindows-shellwhich are options that have to be added to the recipe. But that would make the recipe not usable by others, so that's not an option.Edit: also on Windows 11
bashis available by default, butshisn'tEdit2: a solution would be to add the Git Bash
binfolder to the Windows user or system PATH, but then I'd be overriding the defaultbashthat comes with Windows, which is not what I want. And I've seen the discussion where JUST_SHELL was suggested and rejected but perhaps a solution would be to have aJUST_SH_PATHoption. That way just files will always be able to find the correct binary, even when running just files from within other just files.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
