30/32 keys version

Any chance to have a 30 (hummingbird-like) or 32 key version of this amazing keyboard? Dropping the upper pinky key would allow, I guess, rotating the MCU so that the USB port faces upwards. This way, one could keep the keyboard connected via USB to the PC while using it even when tented.

I have been staring at the PCB recently, so can partly answer this.

Good new: Yes, dropping the Qwerty Q / P (but not moving any other key) would give enough space to rotate the controller, and have its radio keep out zone clear of switch pads and mounting holes - so you should get better radio signal in theory.

Bad news: The corner of the case with the USB port and reset button is the most complex part of the case design, so the changes there would be a challenge (not one I would fancy).

Personally I would rather drop the other key (Qwerty T / Y) as in the 32-key monoblock Visorbearer, but don't see any upsides to dropping that key with the Forager design.
