efi/preinstall, efi: Make sure everything works if Absolute is loaded as part of the pre-OS environment #447
Description
We currently have some workarounds to be compatible with devices that launch the Absolute firmware component as part of the OS-present environment, just before the OS components are launched. Whilst this has always seemed incorrect, it's how some popular platforms work (Dell, for example).
However, there are some platforms that load Absolute correctly as part of the pre-OS environment.
We should verify that this case works correctly as well.
