Summary
This issue relates to Greenhouse application forms. If this is not the appropriate channel, please indicate the appropriate channel for this complaint. All of your job application forms so far do not allow the applicant to type out their own school, and while it's not exactly bad design to make applicants pick from a list instead, this only works if the list is exhaustive, which it currently is not. For example, at the time of writing, Asia Pacific University and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (both based in Malaysia) are not available, but others like Universiti Teknologi Malaysia are.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Go to any job listings posted by Canonical, e.g. on LinkedIn.
- Click on Apply.
- Scroll down to 'Education'
- See error
Expected behavior
The list of schools should be exhaustive. For example the following Malaysian universities are not available:
- Universiti Malaysia Sarawak
- Asia Pacific University
- Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS
