According to the API specifications, gathering historical information concerning the relationship between IMSI and IMEI is essential. Generally, the HSS/UDM monitors the current associations linking IMSI and IMEI. When a user changes devices, this connection is updated in the HSS/UDM. I believe that the HSS/UDM does not store historical associations. Additionally, in most BSS systems, this triplet mapping—i.e., the MSISDN - IMSI - IMEI relationship—is not preserved (although the MSISDN - IMSI pairing is maintained) due to the bring your own device policy adopted by operators worldwide.
