How to handle Widgets updates?

Widgets, not Live Activities, that need to fetch once a day new data (daily content). We cant rely on push notifications for this, we dont want to wait user to open the app and we talk about dynamic data.

How to know when user has already Widgets?

To avoid pushing to users to add Widgets when they already have.

There is a PR that adds a getActiveWidgets method, which returns all instances of your widgets that users have added to their Home Screen. For updating widgets without launching the app, you can schedule future updates if you already know what should be displayed over the next few days. A true "fetch and update" approach, however, is not currently supported.

That said, I think there may be a way to achieve something similar. Imagine a Voltra API called setWidgetRefreshUrl that lets you provide a URL and headers. This URL would be called with parameters such as the widget name and a timestamp. The server would then render Voltra to JSON and return the result, which the widget could use to update itself.

for the auto update, it could be a good approach if we ensure we can safely communicate auth tokens to the widget
