Headless version

Hi thanks for the great library and especially the clean source code!

I really want to use your library but the problem is I need to take care of maintaining the position of my node myself. So is there a way to use bricks just as a headless, algorithm to get the positions? Or are you ok with a PR to add that option? Or are you ok with a fork for that use case?
