Support for tmux-kube/customization?

I just stumbled across maglev and liking it a lot.
I could not find a way to add custom things to the status so I was wondering if there was a way. My goal is to integrate https://github.com/sudermanjr/tmux-kube. If there is no way to customise the config, would a pr adding support for tmux-kube be considered for merging?
