Attitude instrument doesn't have the -20, -10, +5, +10, +15, +20, +25 degree bars/lines.

Above I linked 8 photos of the cessna c172 cockpit, with the attitude indicator shown. All of them have the "bars" (lines) for different degrees/angles.

I'd like those lines introduced in the upstream flightgear airplane, as the lack of those lines makes it hard to know the angle of the aircraft.

The model this aircraft is modeled after apparently did not have the tick bars.

I am not totally opposed to adding the option as an opt-in.

Anyone else have any comments on this?

An Option to add it would be very cool, but it should be labelled like „aftermarket ai“ or so

@wlbragg Oh sorry, I somehow haven't stumbled upon those issues, while looking for duplicates.

I think adding the tick bars as an option would be great.

IIRC the texture of the asi switches with livery?
Should be checked.
Maybe the checkbox should just show an additional transparent object with the ticks, so it works with any asi Texture.

FWIW: i have no objections to adding/fixing this as long as the model(s) stays true to the IRL craft the model(s) are based on... i do recall at least one of the c172p models is based on an actual craft and we have tried to stay true to that specific craft with that particular model... i'm pretty sure the other c172p craft we offer are also based on IRL craft, as well...

I don't think so. There is a livery material animation "GROUP" name you can include a panel instrument under, but a quick search doesn't indicate any instruments are under it.
