Power supply has no high voltage, however all other voltages appear correct and the machine otherwise runs fine.
The fault is not the red wire issue.
Inside the supply, the sense resistors near the flyback (R6, R7, R8) were cooked. Q5 also measured as a dead short circuit between source and drain.
I replaced these, however this has not resolved the fault.
When I try to fire the HV, I get the following relevant measurements:
- 60VDC on the drain of Q6 as expected.
- 0V on the gate of Q6
- 0V on the source of Q6
- 12VDC on the gate of Q5
- 0V on the source of Q5
This suggests the HV driver is not switching the mosfets, I'd expect to see a square wave of around 30KHz on the gates.
