Can create docs in various sizes, but cannot print them.

Hi.  I'm looking to create 8.5x11 (half sheet) notecards for a project.  I can more or less create them using the add on, but when i go to print, 1. All text is centered, ignoring formatting i've set up on the document.  2. I can't find coordinating paper sizes to print, so i'm getting all kinds of weird outputs.  Any hints how to rectify.?
