OCR reads offset location (~11 o’clock from selected area) on LibreWolf (Windows) #22

Description

@IshaqRayhaan

When selecting a region for OCR, the extension reads text from a location slightly above and to the left of the selected area (roughly the 11 o’clock direction).

Environment:

  • Browser: LibreWolf (It works perfectly fine of Firefox)
  • OS: Windows 11

Additional notes:

  • The selection box and the selected text are always roughly 11 o'clock to the actual area I am trying to select (Refer image 1).
  • The selection box seems to be smaller than it should be (Refer image 2).
  • The OCR seems to work fine if you manage to select the correct area while accounting for the offset of the selection box.
  • The extension worked fine on Firefox but doesn't work properly on LibreWolf (both of which are running on a Windows 11 PC).
  • I also tried to replicate the issue on different websites on LibreWolf and the issue persisted.
  • Also note that the scaling of the sites is set to 100% in all the cases.

I have also attached a images of the issue for reference.

The offset of the selection box with respect to the intended area of selection is visible in this image.

I tried to select the whole picture, but it looks as if the selection box is smaller than the whole picture in this image.
