Feature request: gpiomon --initial-state

I'd like an optional parameter e.g. gpiomon --initial-state to output the initial state active or inactive. Just as gpioget would report. When using gpiomon in scripts there is always a window of time for a gpio edge to occur before gpiomon starts running. This initial state would allow me to prime my state machine properly even if I missed an edge.
