Certain words not being hypenated

Currently using en-us as my language

I am finding simple words like 'havent, couldnt, cousin, magic, oddly, about' are all remaining unhyphenated when similar words like 'didnt, wouldnt' are being properly hyphenated.

Is there something I am missing or is this a known flaw to the algorithm patterns used?
