Contributors page: celebrate the Squad in every release #210
Description
Summary
Every release should include an updated Contributors page that celebrates the Squad team's work. The CONTRIBUTORS.md already has a placeholder ('Coming soon: Hall of fame for all contributors.') — time to fill it in.
Requirements
- Auto-update on every release: The contributor's page must be refreshed as part of the release process (build script, CI step, or manual checklist item)
- Celebrate the team: Each Squad agent that contributed to a release gets credited — list their name, role, and what they did
- Cumulative: The page grows over time, showing the full history of contributions across releases
- Release-tagged sections: Each release gets its own section (e.g., '## v0.8.21') listing contributors and highlights
- Format: Keep it readable and celebratory — this is a thank-you page, not a changelog
Current State
CONTRIBUTORS.md exists with Insider Program info and a placeholder:
Coming soon: Hall of fame for all contributors.
Acceptance Criteria
- CONTRIBUTORS.md populated with actual contributor credits
- Release process updated to include contributor page refresh
- At least the current release's contributors are listed
- Page format is celebratory and human-readable
