Use bucketed values with phrasing that matches what's in the weather module

For some values it may make more sense to provided an indexed value that corresponds to a phrase instead of the raw data.

For example:
Rain rate could be mist, light, drizzle, moderate, heavy, etc.

Other candidates would Lux value, UV Index, Wind speed, Wind direction.
