Notepad - comment does not work well with brackets

If I have something like following:

* task1
- task1 is (with brackets) over

The comment that is added to the RT only has the part "task1 is " and the rest is truncated; should be fixed.

OK so turns out its not just with brackets, I faced same issue with colon (":") and comma (","). The text starting with these characters will the end is truncated. Colons are more common when users want to put URLs in comments.
