Migrate to Pekko

I would be in favor to drop akka and use pekko instead, already did the migration on other project and it wend fine.

Should we keep both version in parallel ? I do not use the akka feature of this lib anymore and keeping it as simple as possible would be better IMO.

If anyone is against dropping akka, comment here

With the choice being between Webhooks with another framework, and a BSL dependency on this one, it leaves this a very desirable improvement.

I unfortunately have very little time to work on this project right now, afaik pekko should be very close to Akka's API so it might be very simple to create a new module. I would gladly review/help on that but I can't commit on anything else than bug fix and minor improvement for now

Starting from the akka module, I successfully created the pekko version. I've never used mill, and after a whole afternoon, I couldn't integrate it into this repository without IDE errors.
I compile with the CLI and it seems to work, but I can't get any quality work.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Here's a screenshot of the build.sc issues.

Regarding the IDE, it seems that you are using VSCode right ?
I don't have any error while importing the project, could you share with us a bit more information ?
When I open build.sc, I see that at the bottom of VSCode

I'm running this on Mac.
Which IDE, LSP, operating system are you running ? Can you share with us your Metals Doctor ?

You probably already tried, but did you check https://mill-build.org/mill/cli/installation-ide.html#_vscode ?

Maybe running the Metals: import build action in VSCode can help

I'm using IntelliJ and I've tried it on both Windows and Linux, with the same results.
Basically I have the Scala IntelliJ plugin installed. From CLI the ./mill __.compile goes well.
Tryed even ./mill --bsp-install and ./mill mill.idea/ with no errors but IDE isn't cooperating.

I could ignore them since they seem to be just IDE problems but then I lose the code highlight that warns me of any problems.

Even tried refreshing the project from BSP window.

In build.sc It not recognize build.moduleDir and extends Module.

I haven't used IntelliJ in a very long time, but this is surprising to me. The error you are seeing are they only in the build.sc file or in every file you open in the project ?

I'm asking because in mill's documentation, under the IntelliJ setup they seem to have some errors as well (https://mill-build.org/mill/cli/installation-ide.html#_intellij)

Could this be related to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/projects/SCL/issues/SCL-24284/Any-change-to-build.mill-breaks-references-to-the-variables-from-versions.mill ?
And even com-lihaoyi/mill#6103 ?

Unfortunatelu is hasn't be released yet so I can't upgrade this project

It seems I'm having errors similar to the screenshot.
Perhaps related with the issue you linked.
In the end, I only need the Pekko versions of AkkaHttpClient and AkkaHttpMarshalling, so I decided to implement them directly in my code.
I'll monitor these issues and, when they're released, I'll try again and create a PR.
In the meantime, thanks for your support!

@marcopaggioro any chance you could try to open a PR with your Pekko changes ? I would like to merge it at the same time as #516 so I can release version 7.0 with Pekko + Sttp4.
Even if the PR is not working (or if you still have some BSP issues), I might be able to finish it at some point
