DTMFusing the ATTINY45 #2
Description
this is an intermittent problem. when dialing, sometimes the ATTINY45 will not output a DTMF sound.
example I want to dial the number 800 555 1212 I'll get 80 555 1211. I did check my Western Electric dial [I have checked on more than one dial rotor] on my oscilloscope. The dial is working very well, the switch contacts are clean and the gear assembly has been cleaned and lubricated with a small of clock maker oil. While testing i'd dial one digit over and over and here is an example of what happens. Dialing 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 and not giving my finger that 'free ride back' . 4 4 4 4 4 3 4 4 4 4 _ 4 4 4 4 3 3 3 4 4 4. sometimes it would return a DTMF 3, other times to would not output anything. Keep in mind that in that last example I was dialing as fast as the rotor would allow.The parts I'm using are ATTINY45-20PU and CSTLS4M00G53-B0 4MHz [ceramic resonator,]
