Description
I have both my Windows NTFS C: partition and my Linux EXT4 partition on the same drive. But for whatever reason it's been causing Windows to loose access to the entire drive. This issue occurs seemingly randomly, at least when the driver is running and the EXT4 partition is mounted to the system. If the driver is not running, then the issue goes away. Not sure if it still happens if the driver is running but the partition is not mounted. I'm using Windows 10 Pro 22H2.
Edit: It often initially appears as all the applications on Windows either lock up or cannot access the drive. When I try to restart Windows in this state, I need to force power off the machine. Any files altered or saved to the Windows partition will be either missing or corrupted. If I recall correctly, it often happens if I connect and disconnect other drives to the computer, regardless of their file system. I've had it happen when plugging in my 3D printer's SD card into my computer, and I've had it happen with a faulty USB drive that would repeatedly connect and disconnect.
