Blender gets laggy when having multiple scenes in one file #605

AMD Ryzen 7 5800H | 32GB RAM | RTX 3060 mobile
Issue description and reproduction steps
-set first scene renderer to malt. scene must have existing objects and materials
-add another scene to file
-switch to new scene and set renderer to malt
-go back to first scene and vice versa
-after a few tries, Blender instance starts lagging
