I couldn't find how to reduce the width of the bar by adding more lines or deleting empty space. I also wanted the transparent (90%) tile, but I ended up with choosing an empty profile so now all I get is the MSFS label which happily turns green when connected but I can't move it or get into the configuration pop-up.
Did I mention that I never thought about choosing an empty and transparent profile at the same time?
I have tried downloading again but the files must still be on the PC so it opens the same evry time.
I would appreciate help.

if you point at the border moving the mouse until you see crossed arrows you may be able to move it and also right click for the menu..

else delete the settings file (HudBarAppSettings.json) which is in
MyDocuments\MSFS_HudBarSave\settings
but then all settings are gone..

Thanks again BM, that worked on l/h edge of MSFS label.
I still can't find how to change the order of items in the bar, or how to stack the borderless window vertically. Think I have seen it somewhere.
I want something like this;

If you could just point me to where this is covered I would be grateful.

from start.. (and the second example cannot be made - its just individual Tiles patched as examples)
ususally there is Left or Top bound used
Left bound means the items are ordered left aligned from top to bottom and you can make columns
Top bound means the items are odered top aligned from left to right and you can make rows
To make new rows or colums you have to RIGHT click the item which is the first new in row or column until it has a GREEN background.

Right click of an item cycles through

• GREEN: makes a new row or col
• BLUE: inserts a divider in blue
• GOLD: inserts a divider in yellow
• and finally no color which leaves the item alone
  you may just try and right click any item until you see it without color (grey) again.
  Move items to any position by press LEFT mouse and move them around.

Now for the example on top
Start with empty alpha order (select a profile slot and right click an empty area in the profile part, choose Default Profiles - Empty ..)
This is a 'Window no border' and 'Left bound' (creating columns) with 'Opacity 90%'
With the items shown checked and moved into the order they should appear.

OAT would be on a new column i.e. right clicked until showing green
HDG and VARIO have a yellow divider on top - i.e. right click them to show a golden background.

Result (note I did not start MSFS hence the items have no values to show):
