Feature Request - LN messaging / Batch payments #3357
Description
I actually have two features that i believe work together to improve user experience and are useful for bitcoin local circular economy.
Feature #1
Adding a simple way to leverage the Blink wallet to use as a messaging platform to send messages to my circle/community...
I see that i can add a note/label (message) each time i make a transaction and I understand that I currently need to send a minimum amount of 50 SAT for the receiver to be able to see a the message.
- add a scroll feature to read longer messages
- make message viewable for all intraledger type transactions (set threshold lower than 50 sats?)
- maximum number of characters allowed in the note? Maybe add scrolling to read more lines of text...
Basically having the ability to use the wallet app as a communication tool and i believe that this could be achieved with the second feature.
Feature #2
Adding a way to make batch payments using Blink wallet. User selects from their contact list to send same amount of SATs with same note/label (message)...
Currently I can only select and send funds to one person per transaction. Batch payments will have multiple benefits.
- add check box against each contact to select and send funds/message
I believe that the two features would be very useful to help build local community
Existing payment received notifications would also act as notification of new message
