Axis options are not restored after series.update()

Right now, when updating series, we need to recreate indicators. That means axis is recreated too. In a meantime, axis could be updated by user, and new options are not stored.

For now, workaround is to update options in indicator, when updating axis, for example:

chart.yAxis[axis_index].update({ 
  title: {
    text: "New_name" 
  }  
});
chart.indicators.allItems[indicator_index].options.yAxis.title.text = "New_name";

if I display SMA or EMA I can't delete them anymore because the property "indicator" disapear from yAxis after doing the update line 142 & 143.

TypeError: axis.indicators is undefined indicators.js:842:4

If I comment those lines, SMA & EMA indicators works, but I can't resize axes to display RSI or ATR ....

any ideas please ?

It's caused by changes in the Axis.update() core. Please, add the following line before creating any chart:

Highcharts.Axis.prototype.keepProps.push('indicators');
