Q5 feedrate much faster than I command

Through Repetier-Host I am sending gcode commands directly to a FLSun Q5 loaded with default firmware.

G1 Y20 F20

You'd expect the extruder to move 20 mm at 20 mm/min should take 1 minute to complete. Although the extruder moves accordingly, it happens in less than 3 seconds.

I want to the extruder to move at the feedrate I tell it to.
