This repository probably should be public, as this code is licensed under MPL2 which requires us to distribute changes to the code, and also show what parts of the code we have changes. Moreover we also need to link to these sources from within our application as far as I understand.
The license also states that you need to very visible show what changes you have done to the MPL licensed code, and I think having the github history would be enough of a pointer for that. If not, we could automate that from the git history.
