BUG: animation doesn't run after initial load on the iPad

BUG: on the iPad homepage animation only works the first time the page is loaded

DESCRIPTION

Steps to reproduce:

• Load up the app on the iPad, navigate away from the homepage and return to it

Expected behaviour:

• The animation of the hands coming out of the hole should play every time the homepage is displayed

Observed behaviour:

• The animation plays the first time the page is displayed (after the site loads). Returning to the page does not run the animation and so only the hole is displayed

This occurs on Safari and the Webapp version launched from the springboard

This bug is 'fixed' by going onto a new tab and coming back. Or Just gesturing out of the current tab. From there it remains fixed through, reopening the website, restarting safari. The only way I know of reintroducing the bug is deleting all browsing data.
Even restarting the ipad won't rebreak the animation
