Can i specify the pokemon after i finished the research?

For now, when the pokemon encounter has multiple species, it shows like " Geodude or Voltorb ".
Is it possible let user highlight the correct one by clicking the name or other ways when they already know the result? Most of players are looking for shiny pokemon. This can make it more efficient.
