Unable to connect to hidden SSID

I've been trying over and over again, trying to connect my KNOMI 2 to my hidden SSID and it just won't.

I see that on the config screen, there are 3 different options in this dropdown: AP, STA and AP+STA. I can't find any documentation on what those actually are or what it means.

What am I doing wrong here?
