MGE finder fails to produce output

Dear all,
I have performed my test following the tutorial without success and with the following message:
Missing input files for rule index_assembly:
workdir/00.assembly/sample1.fna

I am using a macbook pro M2 amr.64
I have used spades and unicycler, bwa (as suggested) and created the workdir as indicated.

What could be the problem?
