How to change units's places

Hello,
and again thank you for this nice package.

I was wondering how could I change where do the units appear. I'm trying to mimic the style like shown in the image where there is no units on 'the age at diagnosis' row but units (yrs) appear on the rows 'mean' and 'median'

Is this done easily? Thank you so much for these package.

It is possible. Consider this example:

However, there are some strange things in the example table you provided, like why do age and UPCR have units, but BMI and Systolic BP do not?
