winBuddy

This fork has Chrome's tab bar fixed, borders on by default, and uses border colours from the i3 window manager.

Information:

  • Designed for 10.9+
  • winBuddy is a SIMBL plugin that removes the shadow around windows in every application window on macOS
  • Author: w0lfschild

Note:

  • Some applications may look odd
  • Some applications are blacklisted by default including Notification Center and LoginWindow
  • winBuddy functionality is controlled form the window menu in individual applications
  • Removes rounded corners from windows

Installation:

  1. Download mySIMBL
  2. Clone this repository
  3. Open the Xcode project
  4. Press Command-Shift-R
  5. Run this command in Terminal:
    cd "~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/winbuddy-*/Build/Projects/Debug" && open winBuddy/bundle
  6. Restart any application to have winBuddy plugin loaded

License:

Pretty much the BSD license, just don't repackage it and call it your own please!
