Aegis Network - Testnet Simulation Results

Date: 2026-01-18 Network: Anvil Local Testnet (localhost:8545, Chain ID: 31337) Status: All Tests Passing


Summary

Full end-to-end simulation of the Aegis Network on a local Anvil testnet, verifying:

  1. Smart contract deployment and configuration
  2. Node registration and staking
  3. Protocol registration and bounty deposit
  4. Attack detection and pause execution
  5. ML inference pipeline

1. Smart Contract Deployment

5. ML Inference Testing

5.1 Isolation Forest Detector

Training:

9. Conclusion

The Aegis Network testnet simulation demonstrates:

  1. Smart Contracts: All contracts deploy and configure correctly
  2. Staking: Node and protocol registration with staking works
  3. Consensus: 5/5 signature threshold reached and pause executed
  4. Bounty System: Claim created with 48h dispute window
  5. ML Pipeline: Heuristic filter + Isolation Forest working

Overall Status: SIMULATION SUCCESSFUL

The protocol is ready for testnet deployment with the following caveats:

  • ML model needs training on real exploit data
  • Formal security audit required before mainnet
