Compression support for a2A2600-20gcPRO in ROS2 Humble

Hi, Our setup includes 4 x a2A2600-20gcPRO cameras, which we are using for our AI research. Unfortunately our network does not support throughput from all four camera simultaneously. The data collection pipeline is built using ROS2 but there is no support for compression. Do we expect support for "compression beyond" anytime soon for ROS2 Humble?

This is not planned no. I am keeping this issue opened in case of there would be more users interested in this feature. In the meantime, if you are working on this feature and adding it to the pylon driver, please feel free to submit a pull request.

+1 from my side. We are migrating our imaging pipeline from pypylon to ROS and compression beyond is crucial for us to achieve the target frame rate.
