ThumbnailHandler is a long-running job, however, it doesn't use the $force flag in Asset::getById($message->getAssetId());
It means, that recent changes of properties won't be reflected in thumbnail and the command basilicom:thumbnail won't regenerate them correctly.
On the other hand, this job run relativeley rarely - either manually or by onUpdate event, so I don't see a reason to use cached asset value here, I'd add the $force flag in order to always use freshest data.
