New compilation options with Meteor 1.8

I just read through the release article on meteor, which promises significant build time improvements when using the new API. Do you plan on implementing those? I know, nobody likes giving ETAs, I'm just wondering whether we should find a solution in the mean time or if we should count on this happening "soon(TM)".

we have cloned the repository and implemented the changes @ https://github.com/Adornis/typescript / https://atmospherejs.com/adornis/typescript . @barbatus let me know if you want to merge those back.

Performance gains are ~30% in the test project which is huge for us. More detail here: meteor/meteor-feature-requests#285 (comment)
