[REQUEST] Adjust screen brightness in accordance to theme switching

I know this feature can be tricky to implement, but I would like to share my idea (maybe I will implement it if I find the time this summer). This request is also to have feedbacks.

I’ve noticed Koi’s day/night modes don’t adjust screen brightness, which can make the display too bright in low‑light or too dim in bright settings.

Describe the solution you’d like
Include brightness sliders for day and night modes in Settings, with options to apply different values per screen.

Describe alternatives you’ve considered
Integrate ambient‑light sensors for automatic, context‑aware brightness, but this may be out of scope for Koi.

Hello,

I switched jobs this summer and just had a look at what’s available. The most relevant project I found is vdu_controls, which lets you control screen brightness using lux sensors.

For Koi, I don’t think we need to go that far. The open question for me is whether we should allow setting brightness per screen. That could clutter the settings if we expose too many controls. A simpler option might be to offer just one global brightness control.

Given your feedback, I could try to implement a first POC (let say roughly in 1 month).
