Great work Alec! 💯 Sadly, it looks like the useful GUI functions aren't implemented in octave so I can't run the code locally (and I'm pretending to be allergic to matlab until I absolutely need to use it for a project).
Anyways, let me know if you want any help using git tags to make releases for the software (I use a release-drafter bot to help annotate the work I do on a project I lead) or setting up zenodo to give your code a digital object identifier (doi) so you can get academic credit for your work.
