We updated the new Transit VPC Baked AMIs with encrypted and tunnels went down

We tried to update the cloud formation of the Transit CSR Routers with the Baked AMI with Encrypted Volumes. The Tunnels went down . I think after the new Instance comes up the private IPs are not updated in the S3 configuration. Anyone any thoughts?
