TUN support

I have been looking for a VPN over HTTPS for a long time and would really like to use rosen as an undetectable VPN to bypass censorship. I saw that TUN support is on the roadmap and would like to get an update when this is available, so I created this issue (I'll get a notification when it closes or updates). To be explicit, I'm not creating this issue to complain that there's no TUN support, I just want to not forget this project exists.

Note that I don't expect this to happen in a short time or even at all, this is completely up to you @awnumar. If you're ever at CCC, let me know and I'll buy you a drink 🍺

Thanks for your interest in the project. I'll make sure to update this thread when support is added.

There's also SSTap which creates a TUN interface (ironically) and forwards traffic to a SOCKS server. Perhaps this is a feasible solution for you?

SSTap is Windows-only I think, but this did give me the idea to look for software that translates SOCKS to TUN. There is tun2socks I could use that might work. Don't have a lot of spare time at the moment to investigate this, but I'll put in on my todo-list. Thank you for the recommendation!
