Hello! I am currently studying programming in Perth, Australia, and for my assessment I’m required to learn about and contribute to an open-source Python project.

I chose pythonbible because of its clean structure, scripture-reference parsing features, and its focus on accessible Bible text processing — something I’m personally passionate about.

Before I begin, I would love some guidance on how new contributors usually get started. Is there a recommended issue, documentation task, or small feature that could be a good entry point?

I’m not expecting real-time help — just looking to learn and follow the project’s guidelines correctly. Any advice would be truly appreciated!
