[BUG] Switching to 5g NR causing no internet issue (0 bar )

Bug Description

I am trying to connect to 5G using Shizuku and ADB. When I successfully connect, everything works, but when I try the 5G NR toggle, the network completely goes down and there is no signal. Once I switch back to 4G, my tower bars come back.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use redmi k50i
2. Connect using shizuko
3. Switch to 5g Nr
4. Network goes down completely

Expected Behavior

I expect my network should turn into 5g

Actual Behavior

But I got my network bar to zero

This is expected behavior on certain networks. Airtel likely uses a 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) network, which requires a 4G LTE signal as an "anchor" to establish a 5G connection.

When you force "NR Only" mode, you block the phone from accessing that necessary 4G anchor, causing the signal to drop completely. This isn't an app bug, but a limitation based on how Airtel has configured its 5G network.

Suggested Solution:

Please try switching to a combined NR/LTE (4G/5G) mode in the app. This allows the modem to use the required 4G anchor and should enable your 5G connection.

5g NR doesn't work for me (Airtel as well)
What I did, it diff'd the adb shell setting output for the network mode key while I was switching the network in the native settings app

For me, 5G preferred is mode 26 (2G/3G/4G/5G) and 4G preferred is mode 9 (2G/3G/4G)
I use the exact settings in the app, and switching works like a charm
