Book Lib Connect won't import new audiobook

I have used BLC successfully for many years, but a book I have bought recently will not appear in my library in BLC. It is in my library in my Audible account, but however many times I click on “Resync” in BLC, it refuses to appear. All the other books in my Audible library are in my library on BLC. I tried deleting my profile and then reinstating it, but now it will not import any of my books. I downloaded BLC onto my wife's laptop and I have managed to recreate my profile but it still won't import the book I bought recently
I can download the aax file from my Audible account, but AAX Audio Converter won't convert it to mp3/m4b without an Activation Code. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

See chapter 4 in the little help manual. I'm not sure but you may need to rise the log level to 4. All the json replies from the server are also saved to disk. That would include all your available books. And also a hint if and why a particular book is not downloadable. Unfortunately, these json files are condensed. To make them readable they need to be reformatted. Visual Studio Code (among others) can do that.

Thanks, but I have no idea what this means. I am not a computer expert, just someone who uses BLC to download Audiobooks. I understand that json files are downloaded in the Export folder along with the .aax file but, as I have said, the Audiobook in question will not appear in my BLC library, so I cannot download it, so there are no json files. Is there any way of getting the Audiobook to appear in my BLC library? Alternatively, as I can download the .aax file from my Audible library, is there a way of converting the .aax file to mp3 or m4b? Thank you for your help.

Not really. There will always be a log file, and if any connection can be made to Audible, there will be json files, particularly if you successfully created a profile.

The "LibraryResponse-*.json" files after a full resync list all the titles in your library that are available to you via the Audible Web API. And for each book it has a "status_code" whether you can download it or not. The positive code would be "Granted".

I should point out though, that I believe we still have a local database bug somewhere in the code which I have never been able to track down. For some users it helped to delete the local database, to be found in C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\audiamus\BookLibConnect\data. You can safely rename or even delete audiobooks.db there. BoolLibConnect will recreate it. You'll only lose the "downloaded" indicator which is just for info anyway. However, as you said, you installed BookLibConnect on a different computer that hadn't any previous BookLibConnect installation and experienced the same missing book effect there, it most probably is not the local database.

Not with BookLibConnect. The license mechanism for aax is different.
