Switch from quickcheck to patrick

The [`{quickcheck}`](https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/quickcheck/index.html) package appears to be abandoned and may eventually be removed from CRAN. The [`{patrick}`](https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/patrick/index.html) package seems to be a more robust alternative.
