Question on Integrating Single-Cell Data from Multiple Species

Hello,

Thank you for developing such a useful tool!
I have a question about integrating single-cell data from multiple species. Specifically, I have multiple datasets for each species (i.e., multiple h5ad files per species).

I noticed that if I set the paths of multiple h5ad files under the same species name in the filenames dictionary, only the last file seems to be recognized. Should I merge the h5ad files for each species into one before proceeding, or is there another way to handle this?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions!

I have also encountered a similar issue. Additionally, I would like to ask: when integrating multiple species, is it necessary to perform a BLAST comparison between each dataset? If so, the computational burden could become excessive.
