What would make you use aspens on every project?

We're building aspens to solve the problem of Claude Code not understanding your codebase — writing code that ignores your patterns, rebuilding things that already exist, and burning tokens searching for files.

What features would make this a must-have for you?

Some things we're considering:

• Framework-aware scanning — detect Next.js App Router vs Pages Router, count routes, identify server vs client components, detect Django apps, Rails MVC structure
• Direct API mode — run aspens without Claude Code CLI, just an API key. Would let it work in CI/CD pipelines
• Cheaper sync — use Haiku for doc sync (~$0.02/commit) instead of Sonnet
• Monorepo support — detect workspaces (pnpm, npm, yarn, nx, turbo), build package dependency graph
• Repo map — compressed function/class signatures (like Aider's repo map) so Claude sees your entire API surface in ~2K tokens
• Caching — skip re-analyzing unchanged files on doc sync
