Problem with scraping ekantipur #2
Description
Since we are providing scraping tool we must be cautious about the legal implications. e-kantipur is a for profit organization that relies on ads for its revenue. So in order to make this tool useful for future elections also I purpose following:
- Immediately: Add a disclaimer about tool being just for educational purpose and personal/hoddy use. Also end user is liable for any harm caused using tool.
- In long term: Go for a sustainable approach like getting data from election commission (it runs on our taxes) or partner with news media house if they are willing enough.
This might be far fetched but we never know when things blow up.
